A senior Executive in a large retailer
A new recruit to a senior team showing brash behaviour got up peoples' noses despite a strong performance and visionary leadership. He was in danger of losing his job. The coach helped him to understand his impact on others and modify his behaviour so he developed appropriate relationships of mutual respect with his team, his peers and the board. He was then, and only then, able to deliver on strategic goals which he did so well that his job is now secure and he is a candidate for promotion to the main Board.
