Development Assessment
Self-awareness is at the heart of effective leadership. Cultivating a depth of understanding of oneself helps to ensure clarity of focus on developmental issues, highlights and challenges assumptions and increases general effectiveness. Praesta offers a specialist and highly customised service that often forms part of our coaching assignments but can be equally powerful on a stand alone basis.
Our developmental assessment service explores three key dimensions – how individuals see themselves, how others see them and how that combined picture relates to the business context they are in.
We use a range of ‘tools for self-understanding’ which have been proven to raise awareness and facilitate development planning for leaders operating at the most senior levels of the organisation. To ensure alignment with the wider business agenda our tools for self understanding have been developed around two key principles:
- Flexibility - Individuals can choose from a range of tools, ensuring that the depth of understanding can be tailored to the particular situation
- Integrated - We explore self-understanding across several dimensions. Taking multiple points of reference helps to provide a rich picture and achieve clarity
