My goal is to help my clients to make confident business decisions. Adding my experience to theirs I aim to create an environment where clients will own the decisions they make, are committed to execute them but which are based on the best blend of our collective knowledge and experience.
Experience
Nick is a Chartered Accountant and was a partner at Ernst & Young for 27 years. He held a number of senior leadership roles within the firm including leading the creation of the firm's new Global Consulting practice which grew to over 3000 professionals in 3 years.
He was a member of the firm's UK Executive Board during a period of dramatic upheaval following the collapse of Arthur Andersen. His responsibilities on the Board, which included strategy, business planning and market share growth, meant that he was at the heart of formulating and implementing the firm's response to these dramatic events.
Prior to joining the Executive Board, Nick held a number of leadership roles within the firm including the UK Transaction Advisory practice which grew fivefold under his leadership by addressing new markets. Nick specalised in advisory work for most of his career, particularly M&A and financing assignments.
Nick was one of the first partners at Ernst & Young from an ethnic background and also one of the youngest partners at the time that he was admitted.
During his years at Ernst & Young Nick recruited, coached and helped develop scores of talented individuals many of whom now hold senior positions within the firm or in other organisations. The satisfaction gained from helping others to succeed led Nick to train as a coach/mentor following his retirement from Ernst & Young.
Nick is married and has three children and a dog.
