Alistair Forbes
No leader has all the answers for long. The speed of change in markets, technologies and demographics are such that business conditions are constantly changing. I have personally felt those daunting challenges and experienced the loneliness that accompanies them. Every leader needs a coach.
Experience
Alistair has a broad executive career spanning 35 years. He started out in retail management and completed his last 8 years as CEO of a global technology company. Alistair spent 16 years in retailing rising through the ranks in Sears Holdings, Schering-Plough, The Burton Group and Thorn-EMI. His business to business experience over 19 years was gained with the private equity groups Nomura Principal Finance and Global Innovation Partners where he held MD and CEO roles in their portfolio companies. His most recent role involved the acquisition and merging of 4 European technology companies which led to rebranding, refinancing and a successful sale. Alistair is Chairman of Zenros LLC, a Danish energy management company which provides smart solutions for energy conservation in commercial property.
In his spare time he plays competitive tennis and golf.

Alistair's expertise lies in working with senior executives through times of change, turn-around and growth. His experience with private equity has given him a good understanding of managing shareholders expectations (with respect to CEO's and their management teams).
