Philip Graf
Senior executives in every type of organisation face the constant challenges of change. I get great satisfaction from helping people meet these challenges by performing to their full potential. A key part of my job is to help individuals generate practical insights and solutions which help them and their organisations grow.
Coaching Experience
I want my coaching to help leaders to build on their strengths and maximise their potential. There are 3 aspects to my coaching of leaders and aspirant leaders:
Developing – working with individuals to understand what leadership means to them, where and how they should focus their thinking, time and energy; what kind of new influencing and communication strategies do they need with their key stakeholders; how do they keep clarity of purpose and thinking in the maelstrom of everyday pressure.
Reflecting – acting as a supportive and challenging sounding board; helping leaders to step back and take a wider and longer view. Helping them to be “on the balcony not on the dance floor.”
A Safe Space – providing a place of safety and trust for leaders to help them maintain their energy and focus in the face of day to day pressures.
I bring experience, insight, challenge and humour to constructive conversations, which are aimed at helping clients to build on their strengths and maximise their impact.
Examples of recent assignments include:
- With CEOs
- helping to clarify key issues and areas of focus
- working on establishing constructive relationships with the Chairman and non Executives
- helping to ensure focus and accountability within the senior team - With new/potential CEOs
- clarifying leadership style
- building new relationships with non-executives, stakeholders and their senior team
