The thing I most appreciated is the hardest thing to quantify - chemistry. I have met numerous coaches throughout my career and, of all of them, I felt most comfortable and at ease with Louise. One of her key skills is an ability to understand her client. Her style is a good blend of support and challenge. Very incisive questions and consistently “with” me during the sessions.

Louise Sheppard

A highly experienced coach with over 30 years of business experience and a deep understanding of executive coaching, facilitation, team coaching and leadership gained from working with over 100 organisations globally.

Experience

Louise works at board and MD/Partner level with senior executives and with managers with high potential across the private and public sectors. Louise's background is in business, leadership development and change management.  Her areas of expertise are coaching executives, team coaching, group coaching and coaching supervision. Louise is based in London and works with executives in the US, Europe, Asia and Africa.

Professional Expertise

Louise works with senior executives who are stepping into larger roles, want to develop their leadership skills, increase their impact and presence and gain clarity about career plans and life beyond work. She has a particular interest in supporting senior women to realise their potential.

Louise enables busy, talented leaders to have vital space to reflect upon their choices, think through strategic decisions and address their self-limiting beliefs. She builds trusting relationships with clients to support and challenge them to take the best path forward from their current reality so that they can reach their goals. Louise's approach works well for those who like to explore issues from a variety of angles, draw upon their intuition, are willing to experiment and value feedback and learning. Clients say that they feel invigorated, heard, enlightened and motivated following their coaching, and that they leave the sessions with a plan and know what they want to do next.

Louise started her working career at Unilever Plc where she carried out a number of management roles in human resources covering employee relations, employee development and expatriate management.  She then moved to Coopers & Lybrand as a management consultant and worked in the Commerce and Industry, Government services and then Financial services sectors advising on leadership, organisational development and change management. Louise has been a trustee of a national charity and is currently on the advisory Board of a social enterprise.
