Nigel’s coaching credentials are rare. He has several years’ experience in executive leadership positions at MD level combined with a passion for transformational coaching. This combination enables Nigel to effectively help his executive clients discover new perspectives and inspire positive long-lasting change.

About

Nigel is an experienced executive coach and helps leaders and their teams build capability and transform their performance. He has successfully coached in a wide variety of business sectors and his coaching is informed by his own extensive senior international leadership experience.

Experience

Nigel has 30 years business leadership experience in senior executive positions. He has operated at the highest organisational levels - as Executive Director and President – and has helped to profitably grow business in a variety of blue-chip businesses like Kraft, Boots and Tata. Nigel knows how senior executive teams work and has held positions on 12 different executive boards.

Nigel has restructured businesses, bought and sold businesses, nurtured new start-ups, delivered significant change management programmes and created high performing executive teams. Fundamentally he believes strongly in the power of executive coaching and that people make the difference.

Professional Expertise

Nigel enjoys coaching senior executives and aspiring talent, as well as leadership teams. His areas of specialism include accelerating leadership development, enhancing individual self-belief, improving influencing capability and helping teams become more effective.

Nigel’s approach when coaching executives is focused on finding different perspectives to their challenges. He has the business battle scars which give him credibility as a trusted sounding board and enable him to offer a point of view which often helps leaders quickly see new possibilities.

At all times, Nigel tries to put leaders at ease and make conversations enjoyable and stimulating with thought-provoking reflective questions which are conveyed with warmth and humour.

With teams, Nigel uses a systemic team coaching approach to ensure alignment on purpose, development of collective leadership, achievement of performance goals and engagement with key stakeholders.
